Hum Honge Kaamiyab

One vision - One nation - One Identity.

With this theme in mind the 74th Republic Day Celebrations began at 7.45 a.m. on our school grounds on 26/1/2023. Students of Stds. 5, 7 and 9, ex-students and parents alongwith the staff of all sections were present for the celebrations.

The programme began with the Flag hoisting ceremony by our chief guest – Mr.Savio D’Mello, singing of the National anthem and followed by a prayer for our nation after which snippets highlighting values of cleanliness, unity in diversity and honesty were presented with the aim of enabling our students to realise how they will be responsible citizens in future only if they are responsible students now. This was followed by a thought provoking speech delivered by our chief guest-Mr.Savio D'Mello. The choir enabled us to reflect on the song- ‘Hum honge Kaamiyab’. The final scholarships for the academic year 2019-2020 were distributed to the ex-students and the celebrations ended with an energetic dance performance.

Our Principal – Ms.Preema Noronha gave the vote of thanks. The programme encouraged us not to be patriotic for one day but to be patriotic from day one !Jai Hind!
