Marathi Elocution

Marathi Elocution 2019–2020 on 7/2/2020

The Marathi elocution competition was held in our school hall for the students of Stds.6, 7, and 8 on 7th February 2020. 19 students were the finalists at this competition. The judges for this event were Mrs.Soni Tikone and Mrs.Ragini Patel who were welcomed by the comperes. After the welcome, the comperes introduced the contestants and their topics. The recitation was done enthusiastically. The passages and the poems chosen by the students conveyed great meanings and values, since the theme for the competition was ‘the need to inculcate values’. When the event ended the judges were called upon to express their thoughts and give us a feedback. The judges were very impressed by standard of the competition. The best recitation was on ‘My Mother’. Before ending the programme the judges were given a token of our gratitude and the prizes were distributed. A vote of thanks was given by the Principal which ended the day’s event.
