First Day Special Assembly – 15th June 2022

Even though school reopened for staff on 13^th June 2022 students had to come to school only on 15^th June 2022 as per the GR received on 9/6/2022.

A special assembly centered on the theme of the year ‘Ecology and Education’ was prepared by staff to welcome the students back to school after the pandemic years.

Students of Std.5 were given a warm welcome as they entered the Secondary Section for the first time this year.

This special assembly began with the lighting of the diya by

Fr. Blaise D’Souza s.j. (Manager), Ms.Preema Noronha (Principal),

Mr.Savio D’Mello (Vice Principal), Mr.Luis Rodrigues (Teacher),

Mr.Naresh Bandbe (New office staff), Mr. Kishor Hemrom and

Mr.Sachin Barga (support staff) and student council members followed by:

-Prayer service

-Welcome song –video

-Speech by a student on ‘Ecology and Education’

-Video on Ecology

-Speech by Fr. Blaise D’Souza and address by the Principal

-School Anthem and National Anthem

The Special Assembly ended with a vote of thanks by our Principal –Ms. Preema Noronha
