The Inter-school Hindi Fest

The Inter-school Hindi Fest -14^th September 2019

“It is not the destination that matters but the journey that counts”.

Five students of St.Xavier’s Boys’ Academy accompanied by their parents participated in ‘Rochak 2019’ – Christ Church School’s Annual Interschool Hindi Fest which is celebrated annually on the occasion of Hindi Divas.

The festival was inaugurated through cultural performances and speeches by various dignitaries. After the opening ceremony our students participated in the following events and won these prizes:

1. Newspaper bag making (bagged the first prize)

i) Keval Parekh

ii) Krishna Thakkar

2. Diwali card making (participation certificate)

i) Arjun Mungekar

3. Hindi Story Telling (bagged the third prize)

i) Hardik Shah

4. Hindi Elocution (participation certificate)

i) Aaryan Bhattad

The competitions saw enthusiastic participation from over 15 schools in the city. Our boys too participated with utmost zeal and learnt values of team spirit, hardwork and dedication. Each school was provided with a green room and were served delicious meals. The staff incharge of Rochak were more than welcoming and helped us throughout the festival. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were able to appreciate the hardwork displayed by other students as well.
