Cardinal Oswald Gracias who is the President of the Archdiocesan Board of Education (ABE) celebrates his birthday on the 24^th of December. A special birthday celebration was organized for him on 22^nd December, 2022 at Holy Name Cathedral, Colaba. All the ABE Schools were invited to attend the same with one teacher and three students representing their school. The celebrations began with the practice of hymns at 9.30 a.m. followed by mass at 10.ooam which was celebrated by the Cardinal himself along with six other priests as con-celebrants. After mass the Cardinal cut the cake while everyone present in church sang the birthday song for him. A power point presentation on his life was shown after which he met each school representative, who presented him with a spiritual bouquet. He clicked photographs with each of the school groups and blessed them. A light refreshment was served to all present as they left the premises.
