Rally - ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ – 11/8/2022
‘Independence’ in simplest terms means being free and this holds true for small organizations as well as large nations. On 15th August, 2022 India will complete 75 years of it’s independence. India only had this one dream - of Independence. But this was not that easy – it included struggles right from the first war of Independence in 1857 to the last war fought by the Indian National Army.
To honour the struggles of our freedom fighters the Government of India came up with an innovative programme titled ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. Following the guidelines for the same, a students silent rally was orgnaised by our school Scout Masters. The scouts of Std.9 alongwith the School Captain and House Captains of Std.10 walked around the neighbourhood of our school waving our Indian Flag. Banners expressing thoughts of gratitude and patriotism were specially made by us for this rally.
A special word of thanks to our Azad Maidan Police who led the rally in a police jeep with another jeep at the rear. Thank you Mr.Bhosale (Special Police Personnel) for the arrangements you made with the police staff keeping in mind our safety and security when we participated in this silent rally. I would also like to express my gratitude to our Principal -Ms. Preema Norohna for organizing this wonderful way to propagate patriotism and to our teachers - Mr. Brian Rebello, Mr. Anandprakash Sharma and Mr. Nepolian Almeida for accompanying us throughout the rally.
