The 53rd AB Ward Exhibition was held on the 25th and 26th of November 2025 at Holy Name High School. Students from different sections participated enthusiastically, presenting creative and concept-based models that highlighted their understanding of both Mathematics and Science.
From our school in the junior section, Dhyeya Chopdekar and Zaosh Meherjee showcased their project titled “Rabbit on the Number Road.” This working model was designed to explain the rules of integers in a simple, visual, and engaging manner. The hopping rabbit demonstrated the addition and subtraction of integers in an interactive way, helping young learners grasp the concept with ease. In the senior section, Jaynil Dahibavkar and Vihaan Bohra presented an innovative project called “Vortex Funnel.” Their model suggested placing a funnel-shaped net beneath selected manholes that can be opened during heavy rainfall. Using the principle of a vortex, this structure helps water drain more efficiently, reducing the likelihood of flooding. The protective net also serves as a safety feature, preventing accidents involving humans or animals near open manholes in low-visibility conditions. The drained water can further be directed to a reservoir through pipes for storage and reuse.
The exhibition provided students with a valuable platform to connect theoretical concepts with real-life applications. It promoted critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and confidence as students explained their projects to teachers, parents, and visitors. Overall, the event was an enriching and inspiring experience for all involved.
