The AGM was held on 5^th July 2022 at 12.00 noon in the school auditorium. 212 parents attended the meeting. After the Office bearers were introduced, the Resource person –

Ms Rajeshwari Phadtare from the NGO ‘Project Mumbai’ spoke to the parents about their initiatives like Mumbai Plastic Cyclothon, Jallosh Clean Coast and Green School programmes. She urged parents, teachers and students to come forward and take charge of the immediate environment to help Mumbai have healthy and hygienic surroundings and said that ‘Project Mumbai’ is glad to be associated with St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy who has made a positive contribution towards the environment.

The PTA Executive Office Bearers and Committee for the previous years i.e 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 were thanked by the Principal for working in liaison with the school, other parents and students and for being a great support to the school through all the challenges faced during the years of the Pandemic.

The PTA Executive Committee for 2022-2023 was formed from among the parents who had sent in their nomination forms by picking lots as per the regulations of the Education department.

The following points were also made at the meeting:

-The Counselling services provided by the school for the year 2022-2023.

-Awards for the year 2021-2022 for the secondary section would be based on the second term evaluation as it was conducted in school.

-100 percent pass result of the SSC exam with 47 Distinctions, 17 First Class and 1 Pass Class.

-Proposed Vaccination Drive to be conducted by the BMC in the school hall on 15^th July 2022.

-Reminder to those who had fallen back in the payment of first term school fees to pay their dues before the end of July 2022.
