Teacher's Day Report

A special Teacher's Day programme of St. Xavier's Boys Academy was organised on Google Meet on 5th September ,2020 for for class 1&2 at 11am and class 3&4 at 11.30am.

The programme began with a prayer followed by a heart touching inspirational video. It was then followed by a Power Point Presentation dedicated to the teachers done by the student council of std X.This year being on a different platform, the spirit was yet kept alive as the students presented meaningful quotes, poems and dances each in turn from the safety of their homes. Mr. Aslam Khan, Mrs.Burhanpurwalla and Mrs Torcato on behalf of the PTA expressed their gratitude towards the teachers. As Ms.Premlata Nagpal & Ms. Yvonne Furtado expressed their appreciation on behalf of all the staff members.

Ms.Sandra McMahon Pre- Primary Co-ordinator and Ms. Minelia Monteiro Act.Headmistress of the Primary Section, too expressed their gratitude and thanked teachers for always being eager, responsive and accepting the new challenges during this period of time. Last but not the least was the thanksgiving speech by the Manager Fr.Blaise.

The Act. Headmistress concluded the programme by giving vote of thanks and lastly students were given an open platform to show their love and affection to their dear teachers in the form of cards,poems and PowerPoint Presentations.All in all ,teachers enjoyed and appreciated the programme set up for them with a team effort of the Management, parents, students ,Sir Mario and office staff. With much gratitude.
