After winning a gold medal at the GMAA (Greater Mumbai Aquatic Association) club tournament, Team Mumbai under the training of coach Sir Arjun Kawle proceeded to bag a Bronze Medal at the State Level.
Post this victory a National Camp was held at Raigad in which I was selected to play. After rigorous training at this camp I got selected to represent the Mumbai Team again. The Nationals were held at Rajkot where Team Mumbai won the first two matches played against Manipur and Punjab but lost the third match to Kerala. The semi-finals which was a very exciting match was played against Bengal where we lost but nonetheless we won a Bronze Medal against Madhya Pradesh. This was my first National Bronze Medal and I am very proud to have achieved it.
