The students of St. Xavier's Boys' Academy (Classes 8 and 9) participated in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Padyatra along with two scout masters. The group reported to Old Custom House at 7:30 AM. All the assembled schools commenced the rally towards the Gateway of India at 8 AM. The event featured a gymnastics display, followed by a short skit on the birth of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, presented by children from an orphanage. The surroundings reverberated with slogans honoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Students were given t-shirts and caps with prints of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. At the end, the District Collector gave a vote of thanks to all the students and teachers who participated in the rally.
