There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more.

As part of the social outreach experience, students of STD 5 visited Jai Vakeel foundation on 16th January 2023, alongwith their class teachers and a few parents. The students were briefed about the history and vision of the foundation via a presentation by the resource person. The need to change our perspective and be inclusive in our approach towards those with an intellectual disability was also emphasized. The students also viewed the skills development centre and saw how the students are involved in candle making, making paper and cloth bags, torans etc.The visit created awareness and also enabled the students to break barriers and build bonds with these special students.
