St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy conducted its Annual Medical Health Check-up, organised by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), on 30th September and 1st October 2026 in the school auditorium.
As part of the health initiative, students of Standards III to X underwent a comprehensive Dental Health Check-up conducted by a team of doctors from St. George Hospital. The doctors meticulously examined the students and were pleased to observe that many of them had developed good oral hygiene habits at a young age. The students were also guided on the correct method of brushing their teeth and were educated about the importance of maintaining proper dental hygiene.
Students of Standards I and II underwent a General Health Check-up. Their height and weight were recorded, along with a basic overall health assessment conducted by the doctors.
The health camp provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of regular health check-ups and adopting healthy habits from an early age. The doctors also interacted with the students and offered valuable guidance on maintaining good personal and oral hygiene.
As a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution and dedicated service, the doctors were felicitated by the PTA.
The school expresses its sincere gratitude to the team of dental doctors from St. George Hospital, as well as the private doctors, for their valuable time, expertise and support in making the health check-up camp a meaningful and successful initiative.
The school remains committed to promoting the health and well-being of its students and looks forward to organising similar initiatives in the future.
