SSC/HSC what next???

On 13th July 2020 at 11am an online career guidance session was organised by the Dy. Director of Education - Mr. Ahire for the benefit of students of STD. 9 - 12. The resource person was Shri S.Kumbhar. This session was useful for all those students who would soon need to select their careers after their 10th and 12th STD. Mr. Kumbhar explained how to login to the Mahacareer Portal and Mahacareer mitra. Each and every detailed information regarding the courses offered, a list of colleges and universities offering various courses, a list of counsellors etc. was shared with the help of videos. It is hoped that students would constructively utilise their time specially during this lockdown period in thinking and selecting their careers. A list of counselors (South Mumbai)whose help the students can enlist to assist them in this process of selecting their careers is also mentioned. The session was very useful for students, parents, staff and school authorities too.

Maha Career Portal for Students, Teachers and Parents by Education Department presented by Sri Rajendra Ahire, Deputy Director of Education.

An online workshop was conducted on Maha Career Portal by Mr. Sudam Kumbhar.

The following point were discussed during the workshop:

1. How to select career options, interest in specific fields, aptitude test and personality development.

2. Student have to visit the website: https://www.mahacareerportal.com with their 19 digit Saral Id for information regarding career option, college directory, exam directory, scholarships, competitions and fellowships directory.

3. Student or parents can also visit the website: www.mahacareermitra.in.
