On 27th February 2025, we celebrated Marathi Diwas at our school. This day is observed to mark the birth anniversary of V.V. Shirwadkar, a renowned Marathi author and poet.

The day began with a special assembly conducted by our Marathi teachers—Mr. Brian Rebello, Mr. Reynold D'Cruz, and Mr. Nepolian Almeida. During the assembly, the students were shown a Power Point presentation highlighting the significance and importance of Marathi Diwas and the Marathi language.

Later in the day, a Marathi elocution competition was held for both juniors and seniors. The judges for the competition were Mr. Simon Pereira and Mr. Copin Tuscano.

After the elocution competition, the students were shown a Marathi song and a Pawada (a song that celebrates the valor and pride of the great king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). This experience helped the students appreciate the importance of Marathi Diwas and the Marathi language.
