A 2 days seminar on ‘Navbharat Sasksharta Abhiyan’ (NILP)  2022 – 2023 to 2026 -2027 an  initiative of the Central Government was organised by the Education Department for the teachers of  ‘AB’ ward on 18/10/2023 and 19/10/2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Ms.Vipula Bhagat from SXBA attended the same.

 The programme emphasized the following points:

1. Foundational Literacy and Numeracy.

2. Critical life skills which includes financial literacy, digital literacy, legal literacy, health care, child and family welfare, awareness and education.

3. Basic Education (preparatory – classes 3- 5), (middle classes 6-8),  (secondary classes 9 -12).

4. Vocational skills (skill development) will be a part of the continuous learning process to obtain local employment.

5. Continuing Education - this includes engaging holistic adult education courses, culture, recreation, as well as other topics of interest and use to local learners.

6.   As per the instructions given by the Education department, Ms.Vipula Bhagat briefed the Secondary section teachers of SXBA about the NILP on 23rd October 2023.
