Teachers’ Day Celebrations by PTA – 30/9/2022

Teachers’ Day is a day to respect our teachers for the significant work they do for the betterment of our children. Every year (except during the two years of the Pandemic) the SXBA PTA members celebrated Teachers’ Day. This year the celebrations which commenced at 12.30 p.m. was held at the ‘Orient Club’ which was beautifully decorated by parents with the help of their children on 30^th September 2022 and the theme was a ‘Hawaiian Party’.

The function stared with a warm welcome, a heartfelt speech by a 10^th Std parent followed by the cake cutting ceremony by the heads of school and PTA office bearers. Our Super-duper parents danced and entertained our teachers and parents with their ‘Hawaiian dances’. Various games were played and prizes were awarded to the winning teams. A sumptuous buffet lunch was enjoyed by all. A small token of appreciation and love in the form of a ‘Silver Coin’ was gifted to all staff members.

Our Principal and the PTA- Vice President – Mrs.Sejal Parekh gave their vote of thanks to all those who made the celebrations possible and fun-filled which ended at 2.30 p.m.
