On the radiant morning of September 5th, 2023, in the grand Sologran Hall, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation as the clock struck 9:30 A.M. This day was dedicated to honouring the bedrock of knowledge and inspiration in our lives - our cherished teachers. The hall resonated with jubilant cheers and thunderous applause marking the warm welcome extended to our revered educators and setting the stage for a day filled with gratitude and celebration.

Following the time-honoured tradition at S.X.B.A the festivities commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the samai symbolizing unity. A heartfelt prayer service led by the student council members followed suit. The day's inaugural act was an endearing dance performance by the pre-primary boys, followed by an equally enchanting performance of song and dance by the primary students. Their dances were a perfect blend of catchy tunes and impeccable coordination.

Our School Captain Aaryan Pitale graced the stage with a thoughtful and sincere speech highlighting the invaluable role teachers play in our lives. Parents took the stage next with a side-splitting and entertaining performance that humorously depicted the challenges faced by teachers during online classes amidst the pandemic, weaving their own magic around the situation.  A heart-warming PowerPoint presentation captured cherished memories with all the teachers. The boys then presented a hilarious skit, tickling everyone's funny bone as they depicted the everyday challenges faced by teachers. As the grand finale the boys wowed the audience with an energetic performance that left everyone in awe. Ms. Sharon addressed the gathering with a vote of thanks  sharing her feelings about the program. Our Principal - Ms. Preema Noronha addressed the audience expressing her thoughts on the event and extending a heartfelt thanks to all involved.

The programme was thoroughly enjoyed by all present and lived up to the expectations and the standard of SXBA.

Teachers’ Day is a special occasion to express gratitude and appreciation towards our educators. On 5th September, 2023 the boys of Std.10 organized a grand celebration to honour our teachers.

    The day commenced with a solemn prayer service led by the student council. It set a reflective tone and emphasized the importance of values and wisdom in education. The youngest members of our school - the pre-primary students performed an adorable action song. Their enthusiasm and innocence charmed everyone in the audience. The primary students displayed their talent through an energetic and synchronized dance performance. Our school captain  - Aaryan Pitale then delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the role of teachers in shaping our lives. It was a heartfelt tribute to the educators who have left an indelible mark on our  educational journey. Following the captain’s speech the primary choir sang a melodious song expressing their gratitude and respect for teachers. Next the parents in a delightful skit, portrayed various comical scenarios from our online classes during the pandemic times. Their humorous take on everyday situations had the audience in stitches. A thoughtfully prepared PowerPoint presentation featured memorable moments and achievements of our teachers. It was a touching tribute that highlighted their dedication and impact on students’ lives. Students from Stds. 9 and 10 performed a skit that showcased the challenges of being a teacher. Finally the students of the secondary section mesmerized the audience with a scintillating dance performance which combined various songs in English and Hindi and showcased their talent and coordination. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sharon. She expressed gratitude to the teachers, students, parents, and staff who made the celebration possible. She emphasized the importance of a strong educational community and encouraged everyone to continue working together for the betterment of the school.

 Teachers' Day celebration was a memorable event that not only celebrated our teachers but also highlighted the unity and spirit of our school community. It was a day filled with gratitude, appreciation and joy reminding us of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping our future.
