Mentoring by Dr.Kamlesh Desai – Stds. 9 & 10 – 5th July 2019

A mentoring session was conducted by Dr. Kamlesh Desai for the students of Std. 9 and 10. The talk inspired almost all the boys to select a good career. Dr. Desai started the talk by giving examples of ex-students from St.Xavier’s Boys’ Academy who have achieved great success in their life. Our alumni such as Mr.Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mr.Nitin Paranjpe, Mr.Ajay Piramal etc. who in their childhood faced many obstacles overcame them to achieve success. After facing innumerable problems Mr.Sanjay Leela Bhansali became a successful producer whereas Mr.Nitin Paranjpe became the CEO of ‘Unilever’ worldwide. Dr.Desai urged the boys not to give up in life but to move on without getting depressed. Dr. Desai also enumerated the different ways by which we can overcome obstacles to achieve success in our life and shared some of his personal experiences too. At the end of the session the boys asked Dr.Desai many questions about their future careers which he answered patiently and clearly. We are grateful to Dr.Desai for spending his valuable time in our midst.
