Investiture Ceremony of Scouts – Std.9 on 22/10/2019

On 22nd October 2019 the Scouts of Std.9 were invested at a ceremony in the school premises in the presence of Mr.Elias Correia, the Staff, the Manager and the Principal. The main objective of this ceremony was to make the Scouts aware of the importance of Scouting and to welcome them into the Bharat Scouts and Guide Community. Our Scout masters Mr.Anandprakash Sharma and Mr.Brian Rebello invested the patrol leaders first and they in turn invested the other Scouts in their respective patrols. After this the Scout law and promise was proclaimed aloud by the Scouts. Our Manager - Fr.Blaise D’Souza addressed us and reminded us of our discipline and duty as Scouts of SXBA. Our Principal Ms.Preema Noronha encouraged the Scouts to work out of conviction and not out of compulsion and without any fear. We understood that our responsibilities have increased and we must learn to become a role model for others with our discipline and good behaviour not only in the school premises but outside as well.
