We don't inherit the earth, we borrow it from the future generations.

With great enthusiasm, a special assembly was organized by the students to celebrate the National Science Day on 28th February, 2024. The theme chosen for this year was Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat. Innovative technologies can be a boon to mankind if only we keep Sustainability as our focal point. Therefore our assembly was centered on the theme Science for a Sustainable future. 

 The need and significance of the Science Day was brought out through an Introduction. This was  followed by a skit which brought out some ideas for sustainable practices which the students can adopt at their level. Through a powerpoint presentation and a video, the students were given deeper insights into the importance of making sustainable choices and how we could save our mother earth from destruction. A short quiz was conducted on sustainable choices so as to bring about an awareness of the statistical facts. The assembly concluded with a prayer asking for Divine help in working towards saving and nurturing God's creation. Mr. D'mello and our Principal in-charge Fr. Arul John Bosco s.j. also reiterated the importance of practicing  sustainability at our individual level. 

Science encompasses everything we do each day. It can't  be limited to just one day.. it's to be lived and celebrated everyday of our life.
