Session on Bal Sansad

Session on Bal Sansad – 16/8/2019

Centre for Social Action conducted a session on Bal Sansad at St. Mary’s High School (SSC), Mazagon on 16th Aug, 2019 at 11.00 am in their school hall. The session highlighted the goals of UNICEF and childs’ right that enables children to participate in decision making through the Children’s Parliament. The goals and rights being – right to education, survival, participation and development. Schools present for the session were encouraged to be part to this program and create children’s parliament in school. After which student representative from each school would come to form parliaments at levels of Neighbourhood school, Ward and BMC.
