Sahakari Diwas

Sahakari Diwas – 26/9/2019

On 26th September 2019 we celebrated Sahakari Diwas in our school. The guests of honour for this day were our own Mr.Kishor Hemrom, Mr.Sachin Barga and Mr.Sunil Varkhande. They were escorted by our school Manager, Principal and Vice Principal into the hall. We started the programme with the lighting of the lamp which was followed by a meaningful prayer service and a Marathi prayer song. A speech in Marathi by a student highlighted the importance of Sahakaris in our school. The power point presentation and a speech by a staff member – Mr.Larry Pereira also affirmed that our Sahakaris are the real pillars of an educational institution. A Hindi poem composed by our own Std.10 student –Sameer Gupta was presented next. A folk dance was the last item of this entertainment programme. Our school Manager Fr.Blaise D’Souza s.j. highlighted the importance of Sahakaris by addressing them as our true collaborators in our educational institution. The Vice Principal – Mr.Savio D’Mello also expressed his sentiments towards the Sahakaris and gave the vote of thanks to those incharge of organisising the programme.
