066 English Inter- House Elocution Competition- 26/09/2023
The English Inter-House Elocution Competition was conducted on 26th September, 2023 in the Sologran Auditorium. The competition was conducted in two categories for the Seniors (Std 8-10) and Juniors (Std 5-7). The theme for the Seniors was “A vision for a better future” and the theme for the Juniors was “Hope” keeping in line with the UAP - ‘Journeying with the Young towards a Hope filled future’. Students from std.8 -10 were encouraged to write their own speeches of how they see themselves 10 years from now or what they envision our country to be. Some spoke on extracts taken from eloquent speakers.
The judges for the competition were - Mrs.Angela Fernandes and Mrs. Simrat Saroya from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School - Chembur. The judges appreciated the commendable efforts made by the senior to write their own speeches and also the efforts by the Juniors who recited poems.
