On 2nd September 2024, the students from St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy embarked on a mission to the gateway of India for a cleanliness drive. As per the ‘Majhi Shala Sundar Shala’ mission, our scout masters Mr. Brian Rebello and Mr. Anandprakash Sharma took us to a historical place for the cleanliness drive. At the site Mr. Deepak Heliya facilitated the cleanliness drive. We were provided with equipments for cleaning. We enjoyed doing the duties as it was a new experience for us. We also learnt that it was not easy to continuously keep on cleaning despite the harsh weather. After the duties we returned back to school with memorable moments and a better perspective on keeping public places clean. We are also thankful to one of our parents Mrs. Shirke for helping, organizing this drive.
