On 25th February, 2021 the students of Std. 9th celebrated Marathi Bhasha Din with the help of their Marathi teachers which was organized and presented online. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp followed by a short prayer service. A PowerPoint presentation with information about the Marathi culture was shown to the students. There were two speeches made - one by a student and the other by a parent Mrs. Aditi Gavankar both of whom highlighted on the need to learn and love our Marathi language. This was followed by a traditional Marathi Lavani (dance) by a parent Mrs.Asha Vengurlekar. The programme ended with a vote of thanks given by the Marathi teacher –Mr.Brian Rebello.
