Annual Awards Day

19th JULY 2019

On 19th July 2019, St.Xavier’s Boys’ Academy had it’s Annual Awards Day at Patkar Hall. The programme began at 6.00 p.m. sharp as the student council members marched, led and welcomed the Chief Guests into the hall. The chief guests for this grand evening were Mr. Nimish Patel and Mrs. Shobhna Patel - the father and grand mother of our ex-school captain – Jay Patel.

The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. All items as planned such as a welcome song, choral recitation, school report and dance were splendidly performed on stage. Jay Patel was nostalgic about his school days and his father expressed his gratitude to the school through his speech. Our Manager – Fr.Blaise D’Souza s.j. too addressed the gathering.

The show ended at 8.45 p.m. with the Principal giving the vote of thanks, followed by the singing of the school song and the national anthem.
