Ignatian Spirituality Course for School Lay Administrators

“Many are called ….few are chosen” - Though the course was made mandatory I was surprised to see only 9 lay administrators from among various Jesuit Schools of the Mumbai Province present for this course.

A three day IGNATIAN SPIRITUALITY COURSE for the SCHOOL LAY ADMINISTRATORS at Vinayalaya was organised by the Jesuit School Board of the Bombay Province from 10th to 12th September 2019.

The resource persons were Fr.Charles Rodrigues s.j. and Fr.John Cyriac s.j. This course though very intensive was extremely enriching. The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius written nearly 450 years ago held its charm and we found it relevant even for our times in 2019. The wealth of such great value was shared with us by these Jesuit fathers with a clarity and passion which was evident in their commitment to their Jesuit Apostolate. The course was most helpful in understanding the Universal Apostolic Preferences (2019-20) in the right context.

A very special word of gratitude to Fr.Swamy s.j. for all the trouble taken to organise this well planned workshop for us.
