Raise the bar for yourself this year!

The new academic year 2023-2024 began on 15th June, 2023 with a special assembly in the school hall. The assembly was conducted by the English teachers. The theme of the assembly was “Raise the bar for yourself this year”. Our new manager - Fr. Arul John Bosco s.j. was warmly welcomed to the school alongwith Mr Boneyem Nato, Mr.Santosh Tellis and students of class 5.

This special assembly began with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer service. Various intentions were reverently prayed for. The prayer service was followed by a PowerPoint presentation that helped students understand how they can raise the bar for themselves in the new academic year.

A simple yet powerful demonstration was conducted using everyday things like sugar, marbles and tennis balls. The main aim of this demonstration was to highlight to the students the importance of prioritizing their tasks. This will enable the students to balance work and play in the new academic year. The principal addressed the staff and students and introduced the theme of the new academic year “Journeying with the young towards a hope filled future”. The assembly ended with the State song and the National anthem.
