066 Republic Day Celebration at St. Xavier's Boys' Academy
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervor at St. Xavier's Boys' Academy on Sunday, 26th January 2025. The program was meticulously organized and showcased the spirit of unity and pride among students and staff.
The celebration began with Mr. Mukhtar Khan, the Guest of Honour, unfurling the national flag. The gathering paid homage to the Tricolor, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem.
Following this, Master Saqlain Khatri delivered an eloquent speech, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day and its relevance in modern times. The cultural program featured:
• Patriotic Song: A group of students trained by Ms.Vipula presented a melodious Hindi patriotic song, evoking emotions of patriotism and love for the nation.
• Martial Arts Demonstration: Students showcased an impressive self-defense display, demonstrating their martial arts skills and emphasizing the importance of self-discipline and safety. We thank Mr.Dilip Patil - a parent for co-ordinating this event.
• Academic Excellence Awards: The program also recognized and celebrated the achievements of students excelling academically, motivating others to strive for success. Ms.Teresita, Ms.Valentina, Ms.Heena and Ms.Sophia co-ordinated the Award ceremony.
• Patriotic Dance Performance: The event concluded with a captivating patriotic song and dance performance, "Vande Mataram," choreographed by Ms. Rajani Mishra.
Finally, the Principal, Father Arul, delivered the vote of thanks and highlighted the importance of Republic Day, urging students to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution.
