The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at S.X.B.A. on 17th October 2025. The event was beautifully organized by the Parent-Teacher Association (PASTOR) in the school hall.

The hall was decorated with flowers and colourful rangolis, creating a festive atmosphere all around. The program began with  the traditional lighting of the lamp by all primary teachers followed by a short cultural performance by the parents that added charm to the celebration.

The PASTOR Committee members actively participated in organizing fun-filled programme and shared the true spirit of Diwali — joy, togetherness and sharing. As a token of festive delight, the parents distributed delicious Shankarpalli and Chaklis to all students and staff.

The celebration brought smiles to every face and strengthened the bond between parents, teachers and students. The Primary Headmistress, Mrs. Minelia Monteiro extended a heartfelt gratitude to the PTA for their efforts in making the Diwali celebration memorable and meaningful.

 It was truly a day filled with light, laughter, and love — a perfect way to welcome the festival of Diwali at S.X.B.A!
