Campion School, Mumbai, hosted a collaborative workshop on Pastoral Care in the Early Years – “Nurturing Joy in the Early Years” – on 20th September 2025. TEACHERS from Jesuit schools came together to share insights on fostering student well-being and holistic growth.

The session highlighted the role of pastoral leaders as mentors, the importance of “Connect before Correct,” and Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle for intentional care. Discussions focused on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) – its science, classroom practices, core competencies, and the Jesuit value of Magis.

Led by the Principal of Campion School, Ms Sarah Thomas , the workshop also featured case studies linking theory to real-life situations. The exchange of experiences strengthened the shared mission of nurturing joy, care, and growth in young learners.
