A workshop was conducted for all Jesuit schools on 23rd August 2025 at St. Mary’s ICSE School, Mazagon. The session began with an invocation, seeking God’s blessings for the day.
The resource person, Baba Prasad Lanka, presented the "Model Sustainability" framework and conducted a quick review with the participants. Key parameters of Eco Club 2.0 were discussed in detail, focusing on the core principles of environmental sustainability: Water, Energy, Waste Management, and Biodiversity.
He shared various real-life examples highlighting how these essential resources are depleting and emphasized the urgent need for awareness and action.
Following this, teachers from various Jesuit schools gave PowerPoint presentations showcasing eco-friendly initiatives undertaken by their students in collaboration with teachers and parents. These included activities such as waste segregation drives, energy-saving campaigns, tree plantation, and water conservation efforts.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks. All participants had a fruitful experience and appreciated the opportunity to learn from each other’s efforts and share best practices.
