Teacher’s Day was celebrated with fanfare and joy on Friday, 12th September as per the school calendar, keeping in mind the Ganesh Utsav holidays and not on 5th, September which is the actual day.
The Principal, Supervisor along with the School Captain, Vice- School Captain and class 10 students were the hosts and managed the events in school.
The teachers were felicitated with cards and gifts followed by tea, snacks and fellowship. Some classes even organised little class parties to show their love and appreciation for their teachers. The teachers and staff of all sections were then welcomed to the Solagran auditorium as special guests for a heartfelt and entertaining programme put up by the students and trained by the heads of the sections, the music teacher, and the dance teacher. The decorations and backdrop was done by parents, and helped by a few students.
The lighting of the lamp, prayers, eloquent compering, an action song, a speech, melodious choral singing of well chosen songs, an amateur musical band, a well scripted video presentation of our teachers, a short skit and meaningfully choreographed dances paid tribute to the importance and significance of teachers who shape the lives of our students in an endeavour to form them into men for others.
Ms. Vipula Bhagat, our senior teacher, gave a heartfelt vote of thanks.
The teachers then proceeded for a sumptuous and enjoyable lunch party hosted and organised by the parents of the executive committee and the other parents of the school. Our gratitude goes out to our parents for their generosity and meticulous planning and execution which added to making it a memorable day for our teachers.
Mrs. Monica Rose.

The school PTA Council for the academic year 2025-26 had the privilege of hosting a celebration to commemorate the occasion of Teacher Day 2025.
The event was funded through the voluntary contributions of all willing Parents and was held at the Islam Gymkhana, Marine Drive on the 12th of September 2025, to honor all the Teachers of the school by the PTA Executive Council, as a small measure of the earnest gratitude felt by all the Parents towards the Teachers of the school for their tireless efforts in helping and guiding their students to become worthy young men.
The Celebrations were planned, organized and conducted by the PTA Executive Council and a team of parent members and were graced by the attendance of the Manager, the Principal, the Supervisor, the Heads of Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary sections of the school and all the Teachers of the school.
The Celebrations started with a brief Welcoming Ceremony for all Guests followed by various events conceptualized by the PTA Council to make the event a “stress buster occasion” for our dear Teachers.
The enthusiastic participation of everybody in the festivities followed by a delicious meal made the celebrations memorable for all participants.
