A short-certified course on MIE Certification session to become a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) was organized by the CBCI in collaboration with De Pedagogics powered by Microsoft. The course was conducted on the 21st and 22nd January 2022 from 3pm to 5pm. Participants could choose any one day to attend this training programme. The session was conducted on the Teams App which is a Microsoft platform and was attended by teachers from all over India.

At the beginning of the session the participants were guided in creating their outlook Ids which is a Microsoft mailing platform. After creating outlook ids, its features and uses were shown to the participants. Powerpoint presentations have been one of the most used tools by teachers since the start of Online school. However, creating powerpoint presentations is time consuming. The session helped teachers learn the various features and tools of Microsoft Powerpoint to make their work easy. Various hacks were shown that could aid in the creation of attractive presentations. The next part of the session focussed on the use of Microsoft Word and its latest features including speech to text feature, train with a coach feature and the use of artificial intelligence in designing word documents and powerpoint presentations.On completion of the course the participants were certified as MICROSOFT INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR (MIE).
