  There'd be a lot less people to worry about
  And a lot more people who care."

The staff of all the three sections of SXBA had an orientation that was conducted by Fr.Saby Fernandes s.j on 16.06.2023 from 8.30am to 12.30pm in the Hall. The session began with a Buddhist story that brought out the three possible responses of apathy, empathy and compassion that we have in our daily encounters with our students and colleagues which set the ball rolling for the day.

This was followed by creative group activities where staff had to create designs with everyday articles. Through these designs  we  shared  our experiences of interactions between student-teacher and  those with our staff members.We embarked on an inward reflective journey  that brought out the recipe for better interpersonal relationships. Achievable goals such as understanding the context of the child and colleagues, effective communication, using our resources for the common good, harmony and inclusiveness will help create a love filled world where each one is for the other.The session was then brought to a close with a meaningful song '-Up up up with people' which empowered us to be more compassionate not just in this academic year but for life!.
