DSO Meeting held on 7th October 2022

The DSO meeting was held on Friday 7^th October 2022 at 11.00 a.m. at Sion (Dharavi). The meeting was presided over by the BMC Sports Commissioner Mr.Chandrakant Patil and District officer –Mr.Abhay Chavan. The meeting began with a condolence prayer for those teachers who lost their lives during the pandemic.

The following information was given by the officer:

• Conducting of sports from November to December 2022 at Zonal level followed by District level.

• BMC has decided to open a new centre for Rifle Shooting and Archery at Lower Parel.

• 15^th January 2023 will be celebrated in school as ‘Rajya Krida Divas’ in memory of Khashaba Jadhav.

• Fifa World Cup (Girls) will be held at Thane in October at the D.Y.Patil Stadium. Those who are interested passes will be made available at the DSO office.

• Basic training / information was given by a software engineer regarding registration of students information, ID etc.

This meeting was attended by Mr.Luis Rodrigues (Sports Coordinator) and Mr.Anandprakash Sharma from our school which ended at 1.30 p.m.
