St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm on 29th September 2026. The celebration aimed to promote the Hindi language and encourage students to appreciate India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage.

Two competitions were organized as part of the celebration. The Hindi Handwriting Competition, held on 23rd September 2026, encouraged students to develop neat and legible handwriting. The Hindi Elocution Competition, conducted on 29th September 2026, provided a platform for Junior students to recite poems and Senior students to deliver speeches with confidence and expression.

The programme began with a warm welcome, lamp-lighting ceremony, and prayer. An informative presentation and an action dance highlighted the significance of Hindi Diwas. We were honoured to have Dr. Mukhtar Khan and Dr. Indrakumar Vishwakarma as judges for the elocution competition. They appreciated the participants and offered valuable guidance.

The celebration was a grand success, fostering students’ confidence, creativity, and appreciation for Hindi as an integral part of our cultural heritage.
