On 1st May 2021 Maharashtra Day was celebrated by St. Xavier’s Boys' Academy online from 9.00 am to 9.45 am. The programme began with a warm welcome and a prayer service by the SXBA staff. A Power-Point presentation enabled us to know different aspects of our state of Maharashtra better. After that a speech for the occasion was given by a primary staff as also a secondary student. The celebrations ended with a traditional lavani dance performance by one of our parents. We combined the day's celebrations with a special farewell program in honour of our three staff members - Ms. Dipti V, Ms. Carol G and Mrs. Yvonne Rodrigues who retired/resigned from their services at SXBA in the academic year 2020-2021. We thank God for the role they have played in our school, in the lives of all whom they encountered at SXBA and pray that he may protect and guide them in all their future endeavours.
