021 Go forth and set the world on fire!

On the 31st of July, the students of the academy gathered to celebrate the feast of  St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits. The assembly began with a solemn march of the house captains followed by a symbolic prayer service. This was followed by a video of the cannon ball moment and how St. Ignatius experienced lasting joy in doing things for others and for God's greater glory. Fr. Wesley D'costa addressed the students and highlighted the Spirit of Magis through the song- 'Do what you do, do well!' The students enthusiastically participated in the interhouse quiz that was conducted on St. Ignatius and other renowned Jesuit leaders and were served some snacks. The celebration ended with a message to be effective leaders and bridge builders and to go forth and set the world on fire!
