Theme: Passport to the Future
St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy organized a heartfelt Farewell Programme in honour of the Std. X students on 22nd January in the Sologran Hall. The event was filled with warmth, joy, and fond memories, making it a truly memorable occasion for the outgoing batch.
The day began with students assembling in their classrooms at 7:45 a.m., followed by individual photographs at 8:00 a.m. capturing their final moments in school. At 9:00 a.m., the formal assembly commenced with a prayer service and intentions.
A power-point presentation showcased glimpses of classroom learning, cultural events, and sports competitions, allowing students to relive cherished memories.
The Std. IX students presented a thought‑provoking skit titled “Passport to the Future”, emphasizing the importance of making informed career choices. A lively dance performance by Std. IX added vibrancy to the programme.
School Captain Aryan Nakhare delivered an inspiring speech, followed by a vote of thanks from the Principal. Staff and class photographs at 10:15 a.m. symbolized the strong bond between teachers and students.
The second part of the programme began with a serene prayer service at 11:00 a.m., invoking blessings for the students’ future. The Manager, Fr. Dr. Francis Swamy, addressed the gathering with a thought‑provoking message, encouraging students to step forward with confidence and responsibility. At 11:30 a.m., the atmosphere turned lively with fun-filled games. A ramp walk in the style of a fashion show added glamour to the event. Ten finalists were shortlisted and evaluated by a panel of judges on confidence, personality, and presence of mind. The Principal adorned the winners with sashes, conferring titles such as Mr. Gentlemanliness, Mr. Personality, Mr. Punctuality, and Mr. Academite. The programme concluded with a fellowship lunch at 1:30 p.m., giving students time to interact, share laughter, and relive cherished memories.
The Farewell Programme was a memorable celebration of achievements, friendships, and shared experiences. It marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, as the Std. X batch of St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy steps confidently into the future with their “Passport to Success.”
