St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy Christmas Programme – 22nd December 2020.

The Students of Classes 5 - 10 and their Class teachers organized a virtual Christmas programme on 22nd December 2020 at 9am.

Through the prayer service in the beginning, God’s blessings were invoked and several local and global issues were raised in prayer.

The comperes of the day highlighted the need to maintain the Christmas spirit of hope and peace despite the pandemic situation in verse.

This was followed by the address made by our Principal, Ms Preema Noronha, who reiterated the need to imbibe the Christmas values of hope, peace, joy and love.

The presentation of the Story of Christmas added to the spirituality and faith that hope becomes peace, peace becomes joy, joy becomes love, and love becomes Christ.

Carols were sung and played, Christmas poems ‘Santatize’ and ‘ Christmas at home’ were recited and interactive dancing to Christmas carols were included in the programme. Ms Vipula also did a 5minute demonstration on how to make a Christmas tree. Pictionary was played and students used the words to write a suitable Christmas message which was judged by Mr Khan. Another game household treasure hunt was played and children were encouraged to be participative.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks and everyone greeted each other the joy of Chiristmas.
