019 Primary Section : St. Ignatius of Loyola Feast Day
The students and the staff gathered at the school auditorium to celebrate the feast day of St.Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit order.
The boys of std II-2 conducted the assembly. The assembly began with a welcome and a prayer. An animated video on the life of St. Ignatius was shown. This was followed by a short poem on the life example of St. Ignatius. The boys spoke of the Jesuit education, highlighting the values followed by St. Ignatius.
The Manager addressed the boys and encouraged them to practice these values to help them in their life. The Manager also thanked the teacher and the boys for putting up the assembly. The Headmistress wished the Jesuit fathers and the entire Jesuit community a very 'Happy feast ' and appreciated all their work in the field of education.
A colouring activity for Std I and II and quiz for std III & IV was conducted as part of the activity.
A packet of chips and juice was given to the boys.The children departed home with sweet memories.
