The annual Inter-House Quiz competition for the junior section (std 5-7) was held  on 11th December, 2023. The preliminary rounds on the themes of English language-speaking skills, Science Treasure Hunt and Supersub were held on 7th December 2023. The boys enjoyed playing the games Taboo and 20-Questions to showcase their wordplay and scientific practical knowledge, hunting for the right objects based on the clues given.

 The quiz had 4 new rounds as part of the Scattergories Rounds- A Different Childhood, Technology in the 20th century, Farewell Forever and Think Global-Eat Local. The teams found the questions both exciting and challenging. They were intrigued to learn about the childhood their parents had and how different games, foods and technology were in those days. The students were especially challenged when they had to use their sensory organs to identify foods that are overlooked and quite common in Indian cuisine but often people chase after exotic foods, lacking awareness of the health benefits of the humble amla among other honourable mentions. The audio round expected students to identify the sounds of Indian musical instruments like the Bansuri, Shehnai, Mridanga and Veena.

 The students particularly enjoyed the audience round and had a valuable learning experience on the whole. Students also gave feedback of their appreciation of the quiz to coordinators Ms. Marilyn Rebello and Ms. Neharika Vaz later in the day. A word of gratitude to Ms. Macrina, Ms. Adelaide and Ms. Valentina for helping keep time.
