An overnight retreat for all Catholic students of Std.10 from the different Jesuit schools of the Mumbai Province was organised by the Jesuit School Board on 16^th and 17^th July 2022. 37 students from different schools in South Mumbai – Campion, St.Mary’s –ICSE, St.Mary’s -SSC, St.Xavier’s High School -Fort and St.Xavier’s Boys’ Academy alongwith 5 staff members attended this retreat.

There were a number of interesting and serious sessions like self identity and self esteem, a Bible Quiz, Multiple Intelligence, Word of God alongwith fun sessions of Ice breakers, chart making, a movie, a football game etc. which was a good learning experience for me. I mixed and mingled with boys of the above schools and made many new friends.

The ambience, the greenery, the beauty of nature which is not easily seen in a city was breath-taking. The food and rooms were well prepared. Fr.Ivan s.j. and Br.Ambrose s.j. kept us busy, active, thinking and reflecting throughout our retreat. This is an unforgettable experience for me and I got to learn more about myself and God – Jesus too. I am grateful to my Principal – Ms.Preema Noronha who accompanied me for the two days at Vinayalaya.
