A workshop conducted by Mindset Foundation for Implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Field of Education was organised by the Education Department on 18th September at Y. B. Chavan Center, Nariman Point. Ms. Minelia Monteiro (Primary Headmistress) and Ms. Princia Silvera (Primary Teacher) attended the training. The session was led by professors Dr. Meena Ugale and Dr. Suhas Lawand from St. Xavier’s Institute of Engineering, Mahim.

The event began with a warm welcome to the professors, who were invited on stage. They explained the concepts of Artificial Intelligence in the field of education in a simple and engaging manner, highlighting its applications in daily life as well as its importance in the future. The session included practical examples, which made the learning experience more interactive.

The professors also conducted demonstrations with the teachers, making the training more enjoyable. Later, the guests of honour, Dr. Vaishali Veer, Education Inspector, South Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra

were welcomed on stage and appreciated for their work and presence. They addressed the gathering and shared inspiring messages with the audience, emphasizing their importance in imparting education.

Towards the end of the event, each educator was felicitated with a certificate on stage as a token of appreciation.

Overall, the training was very interesting, informative, and useful, providing valuable insights into the growing field of AI.
