St. Xavier's Boys' Academy celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm on 29th November at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Mary’s ICSE Auditorium. The celebration was a combined programme for the Primary and Secondary sections, witnessed by students, parents, teachers, and staff members.
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer, invoking blessings for the success of the event. This was followed by a welcome speech and welcome song, through which the dignitaries, Chief Guests, parents, and audience were warmly greeted.
The cultural programme began with a Global Mash-Up English Play, beautifully portraying unity and global harmony. This was followed by a Choir presentation, where students rendered melodious songs based on the theme of the programme. The Hindi Play on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was both informative and thought-provoking, highlighting the impact of technology on modern life.
The audience was further enthralled by dances representing different cultures, showcasing diversity, rhythm, and coordination. Each performance reflected the creativity and confidence of the students.
The Manager’s address encouraged students to aim high and remain grounded in values. The Annual Report, presented by the Ms.Monica Rose and Ms.Minelia Monteiro highlighting the school’s academic progress, achievements, and co-curricular excellence during the academic year.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Nakhare, then addressed the gathering. Her inspiring words motivated the students to embrace learning, innovation, and integrity.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guests, management, teachers, parents, and students. The celebration ended on a dignified note, leaving behind cherished memories for all.
