On this bright afternoon of 30th June 2025, the atmosphere at St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy was filled with joy, reverence and admiration as the school came together to celebrate Manager’s Day in honour of our esteemed Dr. Fr. Francis Swamy S.J.—a visionary leader, a guiding light and the heart of S.X.B.A.
The celebration commenced at noon in the school hall with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, signifying wisdom and enlightenment. A serene Prayer Service followed, invoking blessings upon our Manager and setting a spiritual tone to the programme.
The stage then came alive as the youngest stars of our school presented a vibrant Action Song, brimming with innocence and affection. A thoughtful PowerPoint Presentation followed, chronicling Fr. Swamy’s remarkable journey, his contributions, and cherished moments at S.X.B.A., leaving everyone inspired.
A moving poem was delivered by our Primary students brought heartfelt emotions to the forefront. The celebration continued with graceful dance performances from various grades, painting the afternoon with colours of joy and festivity.
The most touching moment of the day was the Felicitation Ceremony, where the Manager was honoured with a potted plant, handmade cards, and a token of gratitude. The Principal’s words of appreciation added warmth and admiration to the occasion.
The event concluded with an uplifting message from Dr. Fr. Francis Swamy S.J., encouraging all to lead lives of purpose and kindness.
The day truly reflected the love, respect and unity that bind the S.X.B.A. family together.
In the afternoon at 2.00 pm Fr. Swamy met the Primary boys.
The students sang a joyful birthday song and joined the Manager in a delightful cake-cutting ceremony.
